Nassef Sawiris has been a member of Adidas's supervisory board since 2016 and is set to become the chair of the board at its shareholder meeting in May 2026. He is a major shareholder in the company and will replace Thomas Rabe, who faced reelection challenges with only 64% support in 2025.
